Do some budgies poop more than others because I have two new ones and is a little chubbier than the other but his poops are so long and they don’t always fall. He has to shake them off. Is that normal for him to poop so much each time compared to the other budgies.

I just adopted a 25 y/o cockatiel who has been kept alone all that time and is in quite bad condition due to one of our family members passing. He apparently cannot be socialized anymore so the local shelters don't want to take him or lets us adopt additional birds out of fear he will harm them. Is there a way to wean them from a mirror toy after this long period of time or will it stress out the bird more than it will help him? I really want this guy to live a happy life going-forward with me but the conditions are very tough to work with and I don't want to put him down

Instead of preferring one person over the other in our house, our GCC always has to have one person that he's mad at. This person will rotate on a daily or weekly basis. He's such a little turd. I'm fine with it when he's mad at me or my husband or our youngest daughter. But when he chooses to be a jerk to our oldest, who adores him and dotes on him more than anyone, I take it personally 😅 She's at least understanding. And is always the one to assure me that he'll get over it. But still, I don't like seeing him hurt my baby's feelings 😂

very nice video thx! we have a budgie now too and i am trying really hard to bond with it. it is tough because the budgie is already one year old and was severely misstreated. it is super stressed and afraid of everything. it now has a big cage and it also like to fly around in the room and it even return to the cage by ítself, but still... trust building is extremely slow. the biggest "problem" we have with it is that it really doesn't eat anything except the seed mix. it never got fed with anything else like millet or fruits and it doesn't even want to try it. it also lost of of its curiosity which would certainly help for trying new food... it is tough... but we remain patient. if it one time tries the food treats i think we will have won. :) cheers
